This project explores how artificial intelligence can be used to revisit and expand my existing body of work. It builds on original illustrations, sketches, and finished pieces created in scratchboard, watercolor, gouache, and acrylic.
Like many artists, I’ve always been drawn to the idea of a more direct connection between what I imagine and what I can create, a way to move from concept to image with less friction. Until recently, that idea felt mostly theoretical. Now, with AI, something close to it is beginning to take shape.
The shift is both exciting and a little disorienting. Ideas that once required long periods of refinement can now take form almost instantly, dramatically shortening the distance between thought and result. That speed opens new possibilities, but it also changes the way decisions are made along the way.
Rather than replacing traditional methods, this process adds another layer to them—one that introduces new questions about authorship, control, and creative intent. I’m approaching it with both curiosity and care, continuing to explore where it fits within my practice.
Thank you for taking the time to engage with the work as this exploration continues.
